Each cell belongs to one number from 1 to 9, and your birth date decides which cells are full and which stay empty. The method is short enough to do on paper, and doing it once makes every result on this site easier to trust. ## Step 1: write the date as eight digits Write the day with two digits, the month with two digits, and the year with four. The date 14 May 1990 becomes `14 05 1990`, which gives the digits 1, 4, 0, 5, 1, 9, 9, 0. Padding matters. A birth on the 3rd of April 2001 is `03 04 2001`, and the zeros are there for a reason we get to next. ## Step 2: drop the zeros The grid has no cell for 0, so zeros are ignored. From 1, 4, 0, 5, 1, 9, 9, 0 we keep 1, 4, 5, 1, 9, 9. That is six digits, and the count never changes your result, only which cells fill. This is the step people get wrong most often. A zero is not a "missing number" and it is not a hidden ten. It simply does not appear on the square. ## Step 3: count each digit from 1 to 9 Tally how many times each number appears: - 1 appears 2 times - 2 appears 0 times - 3 appears 0 times - 4 appears 1 time - 5 appears 1 time - 6 appears 0 times - 7 appears 0 times - 8 appears 0 times - 9 appears 2 times Any number with a count of zero is a missing number. Any count above one is a repeating number. Both ideas get their own guide, linked at the end. ## Step 4: place the digits in the fixed layout The Lo Shu square always has the same layout: ``` 4 9 2 3 5 7 8 1 6 ``` The positions never move. 5 sits in the centre, 1 sits bottom middle, 9 sits top middle. You write each digit from your date into its own cell, repeating it as many times as it occurs. For 14 May 1990 the filled square looks like this: ``` 4 99 . . 5 . . 11 . ``` A dot marks an empty cell. The cells for 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 are empty, so those are the missing numbers. The cells for 1 and 9 hold two digits each. ## Step 5: check the planes A plane is a row, a column or a diagonal of three cells. If all three cells in a line have at least one digit, the plane is complete. In our example, the middle column (9, 5, 1) is complete, because all three of those numbers appear in the date. No row and no diagonal is complete, since each one contains at least one of the missing numbers. How to read those planes is covered in [How to read a Lo Shu grid](/guides/how-to-read-lo-shu-grid). ## What this site does and does not add Many sources add extra digits to the grid, usually the mulank (the day reduced to one digit) and the bhagyank (the whole date reduced to one digit). Solulu does not. The grid here uses only the digits of the DD MM YYYY date, because that is the version most traditional sources describe and it is the one you can verify by hand without trusting a black box. If you want the other version, the three numbers are explained in [Mulank, bhagyank and life path](/guides/mulank-bhagyank-life-path), and adding them is one extra step on your own paper. Just be aware that your missing numbers can change when you do. ## Common mistakes - **Using a two-digit year.** 1990 is four digits. If you write `90`, you lose the 1 and the 9. - **Keeping zeros.** They carry no cell, so remove them before counting. - **Reading the square left to right as 1 to 9.** The layout is 4 9 2 / 3 5 7 / 8 1 6, not a counting order. - **Treating a missing number as bad news.** An empty cell is a quiet area, something you may build on purpose. It is not a defect. ## A second example, to test yourself Try 27 November 1998. It becomes `27 11 1998`, with the digits 2, 7, 1, 1, 1, 9, 9, 8. There are no zeros to drop. The counts are 1 three times, 2 once, 7 once, 8 once and 9 twice. The missing numbers are 3, 4, 5 and 6. The square is: ``` . 99 2 . . 7 8 111 . ``` The bottom row (8, 1, 6) is not complete, because 6 is missing. The top row (4, 9, 2) is not complete, because 4 is missing. Nothing is complete here, and that is a perfectly ordinary chart. ## Where to go from here You can run any date through the calculator on the [home page](/), which shows the same digit-by-digit tally before the reading. For a single missing number, each has its own page, for instance [missing number 5](/missing-number-5), with what the gap is traditionally taken to mean and gentle ways to work with it. The reading is reflective, not predictive. The grid describes tendencies in how a person might approach things, and it makes no promises about marriage, career or money. --- # How to read a Lo Shu grid: rows, columns and planes URL: https://getsolulu.com/guides/how-to-read-lo-shu-grid Updated: 2026-10-27 # How to read a Lo Shu grid: rows, columns and planes Once your square is filled, the next question is what to look at first. A grid can feel like nine separate facts. It reads better as a handful of lines, each made of three numbers, plus the cells that stayed empty. This guide shows the order we use. If you have not filled a grid yet, start with [how the Lo Shu grid is filled from your birth date](/guides/how-lo-shu-grid-is-filled). ## Remember the layout ``` 4 9 2 3 5 7 8 1 6 ``` Every reading below depends on where each number sits, so keep this picture handy. The square we use as an example is 14 May 1990, where 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 are empty and 1 and 9 each appear twice: ``` 4 99 . . 5 . . 11 . ``` ## Step 1: look at the empty cells first The empty cells are the heart of the reading, because they are where the date gives you nothing by default. A missing number is read as a quality you build on purpose instead of one that arrives on its own. Here that means 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8. Every missing number has its own page, for example [missing number 6](/missing-number-6). Read those after this guide, because the planes below tell you how the gaps sit together. ## Step 2: check the rows Rows run left to right and are traditionally linked to thinking, feeling and doing. - **Top row (4, 9, 2): thought and planning.** Full when you have a habit of thinking things through. - **Middle row (3, 5, 7): emotion and balance.** Full when feelings and judgement are in contact. - **Bottom row (8, 1, 6): action and practical matters.** Full when ideas turn into steps. In our example, the top row has 4 and 9 but not 2, the middle row has only 5, and the bottom row has only 1. None is complete, so we note what each row does have and what it lacks. ## Step 3: check the columns Columns run top to bottom and are often read as mind, soul and body, or as three themes of your approach. - **Left column (4, 3, 8): practical and material.** Order, creativity and effort. - **Middle column (9, 5, 1): willpower and identity.** Ideals, centre and self-expression. - **Right column (2, 7, 6): relationships and care.** Sensitivity, inner trust and home. The middle column is complete in our example because 9, 5 and 1 all appear. That is traditionally called a plane of determination, in modern terms a strong sense of what you want and a will to follow it. ## Step 4: check the diagonals Diagonals cross the centre, so they involve 5 and are read as the grid's balance points. - **4-5-6:** steadiness and keeping going. - **2-5-8:** how you handle change and patience. Our example has 4, 5 but no 6, and 5 but neither 2 nor 8, so neither diagonal is complete. ## What "complete" and "incomplete" really mean A complete plane means all three of its numbers appear at least once in your date. It does not mean the area is perfect. It means that area is present by default, so the tendency is easier to notice. An incomplete plane means at least one number is absent. That is common. Most grids have no more than a few complete planes, and many have none. Treat both as description. A complete plane can become a habit you overuse, and an incomplete plane can be a place you grow on purpose. ## Step 5: look at repeated numbers After empty cells and planes, look at any number that appears more than once. A double 9 in the example suggests ideals and finishing things matter a lot, and a double 1 suggests a strong voice. Repeats are read as emphasis, not as flaws. The separate guide on [missing and repeating numbers](/guides/missing-vs-repeating-numbers-lo-shu) covers how the two ideas differ. ## Putting it together on one date For 14 May 1990, a short reflective reading goes like this: the middle column is full, so a clear sense of what you want is likely. The gaps cluster in the right column (2, 7, 6) and the bottom-left (8), so relationships, quiet reflection and patience with practical matters are things to build on purpose. The double 1 and double 9 add strong self-expression and ideals. None of this is a prediction. It is a way to ask yourself better questions. ## A reading order you can reuse 1. Empty cells. 2. Complete planes. 3. Rows, columns, diagonals with two of three numbers. 4. Repeated numbers. 5. Combine into two or three plain sentences. ## Practise on your own date Enter your birth date in the calculator on the [home page](/) to get your square, planes and reading with every count shown. Then open the page for each missing number, and keep a cautious attitude to any claim about marriage or success. The grid is for self-reflection, and its authority ends where honest curiosity does. --- # Missing numbers vs repeating numbers in the Lo Shu grid URL: https://getsolulu.com/guides/missing-vs-repeating-numbers-lo-shu Updated: 2026-10-27 # Missing numbers vs repeating numbers in the Lo Shu grid When you open your Lo Shu grid, two kinds of cell draw the eye: the empty ones and the crowded ones. They are opposites in the count, but they work together in a reading. Here is how each is found, what it is traditionally taken to mean, and how to keep both in proportion. ## The one rule that defines both Count how many times each digit from 1 to 9 appears in your birth date written as DD MM YYYY, with zeros ignored. - A count of **0** is a **missing number**. - A count of **2 or more** is a **repeating number**. - A count of **1** is simply present. That is all. For the full method, see [how the Lo Shu grid is filled](/guides/how-lo-shu-grid-is-filled). ## Worked example: 27 November 1998 The date becomes `27 11 1998`, giving the digits 2, 7, 1, 1, 1, 9, 9, 8. | Number | Count | Status | | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | 3 | Repeating | | 2 | 1 | Present | | 3 | 0 | Missing | | 4 | 0 | Missing | | 5 | 0 | Missing | | 6 | 0 | Missing | | 7 | 1 | Present | | 8 | 1 | Present | | 9 | 2 | Repeating | Missing: 3, 4, 5, 6. Repeating: 1 (three times) and 9 (twice). ## What a missing number suggests A missing number is read as a quality that does not arrive by default. You are not without it, and you can develop it. Traditionally, people with a gap in 3 might find it hard to put feelings into words, a gap in 4 could mean routine takes effort, a gap in 5 can make balance feel like work, and a gap in 6 may mean caring for home and family is something you choose. Each missing number has its own page. For this example, start with [missing number 3](/missing-number-3), [4](/missing-number-4), [5](/missing-number-5) and [6](/missing-number-6). Three things to remember: 1. A missing number is not a fault in your chart. 2. You may well have the trait in daily life, learned or practised. 3. The gap is most useful as a prompt: where do I put in deliberate effort? ## What a repeating number suggests A repeating number is read as emphasis. The more often it appears, the louder that quality tends to be. In our example, three 1s suggest a strong voice and a habit of going first, while two 9s suggest ideals and a drive to finish. Repeats have a flip side, and traditional sources usually mention it. A tripled 1 can tip into being domineering, and a doubled 9 can become over-giving. This is not a warning about your life, only a reminder that a strength used constantly can be tiring for you and for others. ## How they interact The two ideas are best read together, not separately. - **A repeat can offset a gap.** A strong 1 and 9 may mean you act on ideals readily, even if 4 (routine) is empty. - **A gap can leave a repeat unchecked.** If 5 (balance) is missing and 1 is tripled, the push to lead may run without a pause. - **Position matters.** Gaps that line up in one row, column or diagonal make a plane incomplete. Our example has 3, 4, 5 and 6 empty, which is why no row is complete. The [guide to rows, columns and planes](/guides/how-to-read-lo-shu-grid) shows how to read that. ## Common questions **Is more missing numbers worse?** No. A chart with five gaps is no worse than a chart with one. Gaps are where you have more room to choose. **Can I fill a missing number?** Not in the chart, since the date is fixed. Some people use a name number or a ritual to feel they are "adding" it, and each missing-number page covers those traditional ideas, kept secondary. The practical route is habit: choose a small action linked to the trait and repeat it. **Does a missing number say anything about marriage or success?** Not reliably. Some websites claim it does. We do not, and the reading is meant for reflection only. **Do zeros count as missing?** No. Zeros have no cell and are ignored before counting. ## Quick comparison | | Missing number | Repeating number | | --- | --- | --- | | Count | 0 | 2 or more | | Read as | A quality to build on purpose | A quality that shows strongly | | Risk | Neglecting that area | Overusing it | | Useful question | Where can I practise this? | Where does this help, and where does it crowd things out? | ## Next step Run your own date through the calculator on the [home page](/) to see which cells are empty and which are doubled, then open the page for each missing number. Read them as questions to ask yourself, and let the answers be yours, not the chart's. --- # Mulank, bhagyank and life path: three numbers, three sums URL: https://getsolulu.com/guides/mulank-bhagyank-life-path Updated: 2026-10-27 # Mulank, bhagyank and life path: three numbers, three calculations People often use these three words as if they meant the same thing. They do not. Each takes your birth date and reduces it differently, so a single date can give three different numbers. Here is each one, worked out on 14 May 1990 so you can see them side by side. ## Mulank: the day only Mulank (also called the root or psychic number) comes from the **day of birth** alone. 1. Take the day: 14. 2. Add its digits: 1 + 4 = 5. Mulank is 5. If you were born on the 5th, 14th or 23rd, your mulank is 5 as well. Days already below 10 stay as they are. Mulank is read as how you come across and your instinctive style, in the traditional Indian view tied to a planet. You can read each one on its own page, for example [mulank 5](/mulank-5). ## Bhagyank: the whole date added up Bhagyank (destiny or fate number) comes from **every digit** of the full date, summed once and then reduced. 1. Write all digits: 1, 4, 0, 5, 1, 9, 9, 0. 2. Add them: 1 + 4 + 0 + 5 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 29. 3. Reduce 29: 2 + 9 = 11. 4. Reduce 11: 1 + 1 = 2. Bhagyank is 2. In the usual Indian method there is no stopping at 11, so everything goes down to a single digit. The step before the last, 11 here, is sometimes noted as a secondary influence. ## Life path: day, month and year reduced separately Life path is the Western-style number. Each part of the date is reduced on its own, then the three results are added. 1. Day: 14, then 1 + 4 = 5. 2. Month: 05, so 5. 3. Year: 1990, then 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19, then 1 + 9 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1. 4. Add the three: 5 + 5 + 1 = 11. 5. 11 is a master number, so it stays 11. Life path is 11. The master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are kept rather than reduced. If we had reduced it, 11 would give 2. ## The three results, side by side | Number | How it is worked out | 14 May 1990 | | --- | --- | --- | | Mulank | Day only, reduced | 5 | | Bhagyank | All digits added, reduced to one digit | 2 | | Life path | Day, month, year reduced separately, added, masters kept | 11 | Three numbers from one birth date, none of them wrong. This is exactly why a result needs its method named. ## Why bhagyank and life path can disagree Both use the whole date, but they add in a different order. Life path reduces each part first, which can land on a master number early. Bhagyank adds every digit in one go and always goes down to one digit. Here life path is 11 and bhagyank is 2, and since 11 reduces to 2 the two are in the same family. They can also land on unrelated digits for other dates, so treat each as its own reading. ## Which one matters most? There is no official ranking. A practical way to hold them: - **Mulank** describes your surface style and what people see first. - **Bhagyank** points to the direction your life tends to lean. - **Life path** is the broader lesson or theme in the Western tradition. Reading all three and noticing where they agree is more useful than picking a favourite. If they pull in different directions, that is not a contradiction, only a person with more than one side. ## Common mix-ups - **Mulank is not the Lo Shu grid.** The grid counts digits of the whole date. Mulank is one number from the day. Some writers add mulank and bhagyank into the grid, which can fill or empty cells. Solulu does not add them, as explained in [how the Lo Shu grid is filled](/guides/how-lo-shu-grid-is-filled). - **Life path is not "the" destiny number.** In India, destiny usually means bhagyank. In Western writing, it can mean the name number. Check the definition before comparing sources. - **Master numbers are not "better".** They are kept because of tradition, and they are read as a more demanding version of the root digit, not a prize. ## Try it on your date The calculator on the [home page](/) gives all three with the sums shown, so you can check them against this guide. Then open the page for your result, such as [life path 11](/life-path-11), or see how two people's numbers meet on a pairing page like [life path 7 and 9](/life-path-7-and-9). These numbers are for reflection. They do not predict marriage, career or money, and no result should be treated as a verdict. --- # Chaldean vs Pythagorean numerology: which this site uses URL: https://getsolulu.com/guides/chaldean-vs-pythagorean-numerology Updated: 2026-10-27 # Chaldean vs Pythagorean numerology: which this site uses and why Two systems dominate name numerology. They use different letter tables, so the same name can give two different numbers. Neither is "the right one" in a scientific sense, but you should know which one you are looking at, because a result means little without its method. ## The short answer Solulu uses the **Chaldean** method for names. Birth-date numbers (the Lo Shu grid, life path, mulank and bhagyank) do not involve letters at all, so the question only applies to name numbers. ## How Pythagorean works The Pythagorean system is the one most Western books teach. It writes the alphabet in order and cycles through 1 to 9: - 1: A J S - 2: B K T - 3: C L U - 4: D M V - 5: E N W - 6: F O X - 7: G P Y - 8: H Q Z - 9: I R It is easy to remember and easy to teach, which is why it spread. Every number from 1 to 9 is used. ## How Chaldean works The Chaldean table is older and groups letters by sound and vibration rather than by alphabet position: - 1: A I J Q Y - 2: B K R - 3: C G L S - 4: D M T - 5: E H N X - 6: U V W - 7: O Z - 8: F P Notice that **9 is missing**. In the Chaldean tradition 9 is treated as sacred and is not given to any letter. A name can still reduce to 9 after adding, but no single letter carries it. ## The same name, two answers Take the name Priya. **Chaldean:** P = 8, R = 2, I = 1, Y = 1, A = 1. The sum is 8 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 13. Then 13 reduces as 1 + 3 = 4. The compound number is 13 and the single-digit number is 4. **Pythagorean:** P = 7, R = 9, I = 9, Y = 7, A = 1. The sum is 7 + 9 + 9 + 7 + 1 = 33. Then 33 reduces as 3 + 3 = 6 (some practitioners keep 33 as a master number). One name, two different results: 4 against 6. Neither calculation is wrong. They are two different rulebooks. ## Why this site uses Chaldean There are three practical reasons, and none of them is "Chaldean is more accurate". 1. **It is the usual choice in Indian numerology.** Most Indian numerologists, books and name-change consultations use the Chaldean table, so a result here matches what you will meet elsewhere in India. 2. **It keeps the compound number visible.** In Chaldean practice the total before the last reduction (13, 23, 41 and so on) is read as its own number, which is a richer description than one digit. 3. **It is consistent with the birth-date side.** The Lo Shu grid and mulank tradition sit in the same Indian lineage as Chaldean name numbers, so the pieces fit together on one page. We state the method on every name result and show the arithmetic letter by letter, so you can recompute it yourself. ## What about spelling? The table works on Latin letters, so a name in Devanagari needs to be written in English letters first. Spell it the way you actually write it: Priya, not Priyaa, unless that is your real spelling. Changing letters to bend the total is a different practice (name correction) and sits outside what we do. Names with accents are folded to plain letters. Chloé is read as CHLOE, and a letter is never silently dropped. ## Does either system have evidence behind it? No numerology system has been shown to predict life outcomes. Read your name number as a prompt for reflection, a way of thinking about how you present yourself, and not as a forecast. That is true for Chaldean and Pythagorean alike. ## Which should you use? - Using this site, or consulting an Indian numerologist: **Chaldean**. - Reading a Western book or app: likely **Pythagorean**, so check which table it states before comparing. - Comparing the two: do both on paper, note both numbers, and treat any disagreement as a reason to look at the whole chart, not just one digit. If you are mixing sources, never mix tables inside one calculation. Pick one table and carry it through the whole name. ## Next steps Your birth-date numbers do not depend on this choice. Start with [how the Lo Shu grid is filled](/guides/how-lo-shu-grid-is-filled), then see [the three birth numbers](/guides/mulank-bhagyank-life-path) and run any name through the calculator on the [home page](/). If your name number is 4, the [mulank 4](/mulank-4) page covers the number's traditional themes. --- # About Solulu URL: https://getsolulu.com/about Solulu is a Lo Shu grid calculator for people who want to see the working. You type a birth date, and every digit, sum and reduction is on the page so you can check it by hand. The methods are the traditional ones: the fixed 4 9 2 / 3 5 7 / 8 1 6 square with zeros ignored, mulank from the day, bhagyank from every digit, life path with 11, 22 and 33 kept, and the Chaldean table for names. Where sources disagree, the page says so. The readings are reflective. They use words like may and tends to, because a birth date cannot promise a marriage, a job or a fortune. Remedies are listed as optional, never as fixes. The site is free and needs no login. It may show advertising to pay for hosting. --- # Data: angelNumber | label | number | summary | |---|---|---| | Angel number 111 | 111 | Often read as a prompt to notice your thoughts and begin something | | Angel number 222 | 222 | Often read as a call for balance, patience and trust in a partnership or plan | | Angel number 333 | 333 | Often read as encouragement to express yourself and to trust support around you | | Angel number 444 | 444 | Often read as reassurance, steadiness and a prompt to build solid foundations | | Angel number 555 | 555 | Often read as a sign that change is arriving or already underway | | Angel number 777 | 777 | Often read as a sign of inner reflection, learning and spiritual alignment | | Angel number 1111 | 1111 | Often read as an especially strong cue to focus your intention and begin | | Angel number 1212 | 1212 | Often read as a reminder to keep a positive outlook and trust your path while it unfolds | --- # Data: mulank | label | number | planet | meaning | meaningHi | friendly | neutral | unfriendly | bhagyank | |---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---| | Mulank 1 | 1 | Sun (Surya) | Born on the 1st, 10th, 19th or 28th. Traditionally 4 is tied to Rahu and to deep blue or grey; that part is secondary. | 1991-05-23 | Digits are 2, 3, 0, 5, 1, 9, 9, 1. Without zeros: 2, 3, 5, 1, 9, 9, 1. No 4 appears, so the top-left cell is empty even though the centre 5 is present. | 5, 6, 7 | traditional Lo Shu grid interpretation | | Missing number 5 | 5 | Balance, adaptability and a sense of your own centre. | The 5 sits in the middle of the square, so its absence is read as feeling pulled by whichever direction is loudest. The reflection is about having a steady place to return to. | Dates with no digit 5: for example 1st to 4th, 6th to 14th, 16th to 19th in months like 01 to 04, in years such as 1987. | A calm daily pause, such as five minutes of quiet breathing before the phone, is the useful part. Some texts link 5 with Mercury and green; optional. | 1987-04-12 | Digits are 1, 2, 0, 4, 1, 9, 8, 7. Without zeros: 1, 2, 4, 1, 9, 8, 7. The 5 is missing, so the centre cell is empty and the middle row and column, and both diagonals, cannot be complete. | 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 | traditional Lo Shu grid interpretation | | Missing number 6 | 6 | Care for home, family and the people you answer to. | A missing 6 is read as a looser tie to domestic routines or to taking on the carer role. It does not mean less love, only that responsibility may need to be chosen rather than assumed. | Dates with no digit 6: for example 1st to 5th, 7th to 15th in months like 01 to 05, in years such as 1993 or 1990. | A small ritual of looking after something, whether a plant or a weekly call home, is the kind of steadiness this gap is read as asking for. Venus and white or pink are the traditional links, offered lightly. | 1993-02-15 | Digits are 1, 5, 0, 2, 1, 9, 9, 3. Without zeros: 1, 5, 2, 1, 9, 9, 3. The 6 is empty, so the bottom-right corner is open and the right column 2-7-6 is incomplete. | 4, 5, 8 | traditional Lo Shu grid interpretation | | Missing number 7 | 7 | Quiet reflection, faith and trust in your inner voice. | A missing 7 is read as a mind that prefers action and evidence to stillness. Reflection time may feel optional, and doubt can be louder than intuition. | Dates with no digit 7: for example 1st to 6th, 8th to 16th in most months, in years such as 1996 or 2004. | A gentle step is a regular quiet window with no input, a walk or a few lines in a journal. Some traditions pair 7 with Ketu and a muted colour; secondary. | 1996-03-24 | Digits are 2, 4, 0, 3, 1, 9, 9, 6. Without zeros: 2, 4, 3, 1, 9, 9, 6. No 7, so the middle-right cell is empty and the middle row 3-5-7 cannot complete. | 4 | traditional Lo Shu grid interpretation | | Missing number 8 | 8 | Patience, endurance and a steady hand with money and time. | A missing 8 is read as a less automatic feel for budgets, schedules and long hauls. The reflection is about building small systems so that effort and reward meet. | Dates with no digit 8: for example 1st to 7th, 9th to 17th in most months, in years such as 1994 or 2001. | Practical first: a simple monthly money check and a calendar you trust. Saturn and dark blue are the traditional links, mentioned only for completeness. | 1994-06-19 | Digits are 1, 9, 0, 6, 1, 9, 9, 4. Without zeros: 1, 9, 6, 1, 9, 9, 4. No 8, so the bottom-left cell is empty and the bottom row 8-1-6 and the left column stay open. | 5, 6 | traditional Lo Shu grid interpretation | | Missing number 9 | 9 | Ideals, compassion and the drive to see things through. | A missing 9 is read as keeping ambitions closer to the personal and the practical. The reflection is about whether there is a cause or a finish line that you actually want. | Dates with no digit 9: for example 1st to 8th, 10th to 18th in most months, in years like 2001 or 2005 (years beginning with 19 always contain a 9). | A simple practice is to finish one small thing a week and mark it done. Mars and red are the traditional associations, secondary again. | 2001-05-12 | Digits are 1, 2, 0, 5, 2, 0, 0, 1. Without zeros: 1, 2, 5, 2, 1. No 9, so the top-middle cell is empty even though 1, 2 and 5 are present. | 1, 3 | traditional Lo Shu grid interpretation |
